For the first month or so, the album will only be available from us directly, either at our shows or through emailing weatherduomusic@gmail.com. So come to our shows!

As a companion to the album, we have download cards that will give you access to several of Anna's videos, as well as 2 bonus tracks, and wallpaper art.

These download cards will be available at the show tonight with Nash Smith and Ganges and bell monks at the Project Lodge. See you there!

We've been gradually developing a set of material for the last year and a half or so, pushing and pulling it through many performances and rehearsals, wearing it in like a favorite pair of shoes. We're comfortable enough with it now to lay it down in the studio, so that's what we're doing for the next two weeks. This recording will be our first official full-length release, so this is pretty exciting--a culmination of a lot of things for us. It will be ready for you by mid-March.

Here's a taste of last night's proceedings:

We've just booked two shows in the coming months:

Wed, March 9, Project Lodge 7:30p

Also performing will be Drekka and Vartan Mamigonian. A night of concept-shattering acts! Drekka is the project of guitarist Michael Anderson, and he plays experimental, etherial, sometimes ambient, folk-inspired music that will blend very well with ours. Vartan Mamigonian is the project of saxophonist Patrick Breiner, who weaves intricate and transcendent compositions using a mix of extended saxophone techniques in a performance that is mesmerizing live.

Wed, April 13th, Project Lodge 7:30p

Also performing will be Slow Skate and Asumaya. Slow Skate is a duo from Seattle, who play really beautiful, haunting songs on a variety of instruments. Asumaya is the work of one very talented individual who blends electric bass, voice, and multitudes of percussion instruments into infectious, well-crafted songs.

Both of these shows will be really exciting and different! Mark your calendars.
Also, for the next two weeks, we will be in the studio, finishing up our album, which we hope to have available by mid-March....
